The Beautiful and The Diy-ed

One of my best friends has a birthday only a few days after mine. We are both major fans of Free People so I drew inspiration from their brand to create this birthday card. I created the watercolor backgrounds and additions to couple with flowers I pressed.
Crafts are interesting, you never know where you’ll end up. The floral pattern I made was originally a large, more detailed chunk but ended up being cut into a tiny square and layered with vellum. Same with the feather. Originally it had a designed background but I ended up ripping that all off. I hope these decisions were right and that she will like the end result.
